One of the core design philosophies behind PVE’s elevator designs is the idea of a small footprint. Because vacuum elevators do not require any of the complicated machinery on which traditional elevators rely, we’re able to build slim, attractive home elevators that take up only as much space as necessary. However, we also understand that different customers will have different needs. That’s why we offer lifts in a variety of sizes.
Our largest standard home elevator is the PVE52. This lift is unique for many reasons:
Wheelchair-Accessible – The PVE52 elevator offers plenty of room for a wheelchair to enter, turn, and exit. We understand that many of our clients need or prefer a wheelchair to move around; the PVE52 is designed to accommodate these clients without forcing them to make compromises.
Small Profile – Despite offering lots of room for a wheelchair, the PVE52 is still remarkably slim. The external cylinder diameter is just over 52 inches, making it one of the smallest wheelchair-accessible elevators in the world. Spacious on the inside doesn’t have to mean intrusive on the outside.
Flexible Installs – The unique design of vacuum elevators ensures they require limited remodeling and can be installed in almost any home. We’ve even installed them in yachts. The PVE52 can be set up with 35 total feet of rise, supports two to four stops, and can run through the floor or to a balcony landing.
Efficient Performance – The PVE52, like our other pneumatic lifts, uses very little power. In fact, the majority of the work is done by the clever management of air pressure within the shaft, which means power demands are consistently low. The energy use of a vacuum elevator is miniscule compared to a traditional lift.
At PVE, we strive to build innovative, efficient, and functional elevators suitable for any task. For more information or inquiries about our PVE52 and whether it’s the right choice for you, please contact us at 855-PVE-LIFT or visit www.vacuumelevators.com.
