Only one more day to go till the weekend! How’s the week treating you so far, wine cellar buddies? If you’re feeling a little burned out, we have something to boost your spirits. Our clients from Norman, OK sent in these beautiful shots of their completed wine cellar. It is actually a compact wine storage that was dolled up with the help of custom options. Yes, you read right! Today, we’re going to show you guys how customization can really level up your wine cellar design game:
Now let’s get started by first checking out this vintage-themed wine cellar door. It’s a full-arched, glass door that lets you have more than just a sneak peek into the cellar. Here at WCI, we can customize wine cellar entryways to satisfy any design goal. We do have a great variety of door styles available and our stock doors will save you the wait. But if you want something tailor-made to your specifications, we also have the capacity to deliver the same. Our clients wanted something quaint for their entryway and that would match the wood of their racking units. We’re proud to say that we were able to give them exactly what they wanted!
Next up, let’s take a closer look at the racking assembly. The clients ordered for individual bottle racks, but these were custom-made to maximize the limited space. This is where customizing your wine storage really makes a difference. This compact wine cellar can actually store up to an estimated 379 bottles with ease. Moreover, you can see how the racks fit nicely inside the room without looking too cramped or busy. To give the assembly that professional look, center seam trim, as well as crown and base moldings were incorporated. Notice that there are no awkward gaps between the stacked units, as well as between the racks and floors.
One of the special features of this project is the wood choice. Instead of the popular options like Redwood or Rustic Pine, the client went for African Mahogany. They also chose a Dark Walnut Stain that matches the arched door. We are proud to say, we are able to provide clients with non-stock wood options. We have a fully integrated mill which takes lumber from a rough sawn stage all the way through the finishing details. Because of our capabilities, we can manufacture wine cellars in any wood commercially available. That being said, when a client wants “custom,” then that’s exactly what we give them! ^_^
