NEW YORK – Fiandre, part of the Iris Ceramica Group, has opened its first New York City-based showroom. The interior is defined as a traditional open loft space highlighted by inspirational home environments in design themes ranging from classic to minimal showcasing both residential and commercial concepts.
The 4,000-sq.-ft. space is located on East 31st Street in the heart of the New York Design District, anchored by the NY Design Center and in the Nomad neighborhood that features global brand showrooms showcasing Italian interior design trends. The newest showroom is Fiandre’s fifth corporate showroom in the United States, with other locations in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Francisco. Its flagship studio is located in Chicago. The newest New York location will cater to designers, architects, builders and consumers.
Fiandre is a global leader of high-end and high-tech architectural surfaces and design solutions for both residential and commercial applications. The new technology-advanced Manhattan showroom features an open floor plan and luxury lifestyle vignettes, so clients can experience the porcelain and ceramic collections in real-life settings.
Several new products, including Design Your Slab and new shades in the Maximum Marmi collection will debut for the first time in the NYC showroom. In addition, new colors from other brands in the group will also be on display, including Iris Ceramica, Diesel Living, Ariostea and Sapienstone.
Design Your Slabs is a tailor-made service where any image or illustration can be applied to large-sized high-tech ceramic surfaces through inkjet technology. Design Your Slabs offers architects and designers a new option for their unique artistic concepts. Design Your Slabs are the first technical ceramic slabs in the market to offer personalization with high-impact color illustration, notes the firm. The design concept allows for continuity among interior and exterior spaces, embracing the synergies of indoor and outdoor walls. Metallic elements in gold, silver and bronze can also be incorporated.
“We are excited to expand our NYC presence in the hub of NY’s emerging design district, invest in our brand image and create an open architectural environment conducive to design inspiration. This marks an important stage in the company’s strategic expansion in the U.S.,” said Federica Minozzi, CEO, Iris Ceramica Group.
